Cruising Area

Hong Kong has become the hub for yachting in Asia and the third largest boating destination in the world after the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. It is easy to see why with over 200 islands to sail around and the cultural diversity on offer. Get out on the water with Hong Kong’s skyscrapers as a backdrop, then have lunch moored off one of the many islands. World Class sailing clubs and marinas offer everything a boater needs. It is a great place to learn the basics of sailing, and for experienced sailors to develop new skills. You can then try your hand at one of the many offshore races and join in the Regatta fun. An amazing coastline awaits your adventure.

Weather Synopsis

A year-round mild sub-tropical climate is great for sailing but beware of the Typhoon season which begins in May and ends in November. However, there is normally plenty of warning given.
